Maiden RC Drilling Confirms Gold-Bearing Vein Mineralisation at Marahui, Côte d’Ivoire
Updated: Oct 7
Thor Explorations has reported encouraging maiden exploration drilling results from its Marahui Gold Project in northeastern Côte d’Ivoire.

Initial RC drilling has confirmed gold-bearing vein mineralisation within a NW-trending shear corridor extending over 4 km, with drilling to date testing approximately 30% of the overall geological trend.
Selected drill results include:
MRRC26-115: 6 m @ 6.20 g/t Au from 74 m
MRRC26-012: 9 m @ 5.40 g/t Au from 40 m
MRRC26-008: 6 m @ 5.60 g/t Au from 129 m
MRRC26-053: 8 m @ 3.60 g/t Au from 35 m
MRRC26-143: 8 m @ 3.40 g/t Au from 50 mMRRC26-052: 5 m @ 3.60 g/t Au from 75 m
Thor has completed 18,439 m of a planned 25,000 m RC drilling programme, with 171 RC drillholes completed to date. Results suggest individual veins may have apparent strike continuity of up to 700 m and estimated true widths of up to approximately 7 m.
Rock-chip sampling from artisanal workings has also returned values of up to 23.1 g/t Au.
With additional geochemical anomalies identified along the trend and further drilling planned, Marahui remains an early-stage exploration project with further work required to understand the scale and continuity of the mineralisation.
