Manfo Gold Project: 2026 Drilling Demonstrates Extensions at Pokukrom East
Updated: Oct 7
Pelangio Exploration has completed its 2026 resource-extension diamond drilling programme at the Manfo Gold Project in Ghana, with drilling demonstrating extensions to mineralisation at the Pokukrom East deposit.

Key drilling results include:
SPDD26-008: 26 m @ 2.99 g/t Au, including 6 m @ 11.74 g/t Au
SPDD26-009: 43 m @ 0.54 g/t Au, including 18 m @ 0.82 g/t Au and 8 m @ 0.80 g/t Au
SPDD26-008 extended the known resource approximately 150 m down-plunge to the north, while SPDD26-009 confirmed that mineralisation remains open down-dip near the southern end of Pokukrom East.
The completed programme comprised:
12 diamond drill holes
2,951.2 m drilled
Pokukrom East: 9 holes / 2,417.7 m
Pokukrom West: 3 holes / 533.5 m
All assays received
The Manfo Project currently hosts an updated Mineral Resource Estimate of:
441 koz Indicated @ 1.16 g/t Au
396 koz Inferred @ 0.77 g/t Au
837 koz total contained gold
The company states that further drilling will focus on areas where mineralisation remains open, alongside infill drilling to help quantify potential resource additions. A structural review of the Pokukrom East drill core is also planned to support future drill planning and geological modelling.
