Musensi Hill: Potassium & Associated Rare-Earth Enrichment Identified | Tanzania 🇹🇿
First-pass surface sampling at the Musensi Hill block in south-west Tanzania has identified a laterally extensive, potassium-rich alkaline volcanic unit with an associated rare-earth signature.

54 alkaline-suite samples analysed
43 samples >10% Kâ‚‚O, with a maximum of 16.8% Kâ‚‚O
Median potassium grade of 13.5% Kâ‚‚O
14/54 samples >0.2% TREO, with a maximum of 3.76% TREO
Potassium hosted principally in leucite/feldspathoid minerals
Associated pathfinders include Sr up to 7,333 ppm and Ba up to 15,788 ppm
The potassium-bearing phonolitic leucitite is currently mapped over approximately 3 km² within an ~11 km² licence area. The next phase will include detailed geological mapping, high-resolution magnetics, radiometrics and systematic surface sampling ahead of potential resource drilling. London South East
The ~3 km² figure represents mapped surface lithological extent, not a mineralised area. No Mineral Resource or Ore Reserve has been estimated.
