Resolute Mining has announced an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for its ABC Project in Côte d'Ivoire, increasing the project's total resource to more than 3.0 million ounces of contained gold following continued drilling success.
The updated estimate demonstrates how systematic exploration, resource modelling and ongoing drilling continue to unlock additional value within the project.
Key Highlights:
Updated Mineral Resource: 133 Mt @ 0.71 g/t Au for 3.0 Moz contained gold
Previous Resource (2024): 2.16 Moz Au
Resource Growth: Approximately 39% increase in contained gold
31,000+ metres of additional drilling completed
A large proportion of the resource remains within 250 metres of surface
Mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth, supporting further exploration potential
Looking ahead, Resolute Mining plans to invest US$15–25 million in the next phase of exploration over the coming 12–18 months including at least 80,000 metres of additional drilling. The company currently has 7 drill rigs operating and expects to increase this to 11 rigs to accelerate infill and extension drilling.
This update highlights how disciplined drilling, continuous geological interpretation and regular resource updates play a critical role in advancing major gold projects from exploration toward long-term development.
What do you think is the biggest factor in successfully growing a mineral resource—consistent drilling, geological interpretation, or resource modelling?
