Significant Gold Intersections at the Bido Gold Project, Burkina Faso 🇧🇫
Panthera Resources has reported significant gold intersections from reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Kwademen Prospect within its Bido Gold Project in Burkina Faso.
Key reported results:
56 m @ 1.16 g/t Au from 76 m, including 28 m @ 2.04 g/t Au from 88 m
40 m @ 0.59 g/t Au from 10 m, including 18 m @ 1.02 g/t Au from 14 m
The 2026 RC programme comprised 34 holes for 4,086 metres drilled. The company also reported a mineralised system extending approximately 1,400 metres along strike.

Why it matters
Industry impact: Further drilling could help refine the understanding of the project's gold mineralisation and exploration potential.
Exploration impact: Infill drilling and additional geological work are needed to better define the mineralised system.
Core sample importance: Accurate sample identification, secure storage and reliable geological logging help maintain sample traceability and support exploration workflows.
Important technical note: The reported 0.7–1.6 Moz Exploration Target is conceptual in nature and is not a Mineral Resource. Further exploration may or may not result in a Mineral Resource estimate. Reported drill intervals are downhole lengths; true widths have not been established.
