Exploration has entered a new phase at the Aburna Gold Project, where Alpha Exploration has commenced a fully funded Phase-1 drilling programme within its 100%-owned Kerkasha Project in Eritrea.
The programme includes approximately 6,500 metres of core drilling and reverse circulation (RC) drilling across a 7 km mineralised corridor. The objective is to test priority exploration targets while evaluating seven newly identified targets that could further enhance the project's exploration potential.
Key Highlights:
Location: Aburna Gold Project, Eritrea
Phase-1 Drilling: ~6,500 metres
Drilling Methods: Core Drilling + RC Drilling
Exploration Focus: 7 km mineralised corridor
Objective: Test priority targets while evaluating seven newly identified exploration targets.
Successful exploration relies on a systematic workflow—from geological interpretation and drilling to sample logging, laboratory analysis and geological modelling. Every stage contributes to building confidence in future resource definition.
It will be exciting to follow the results of this drilling programme as Alpha Exploration continues to advance the Aburna Gold Project.
