SENEGAL GOLD EXPLORATION | High-Grade Intersections Extend Mineralisation at Diamba Sud
Fortuna Mining Corp. has reported new drilling results from the Southern Arc and Kassasoko deposits at its Diamba Sud Gold Project in Senegal, alongside the commencement of exploration drilling at the recently acquired Bambadji property.
Key drilling results
Southern Arc — DSR1149: 40.8 m at 3.9 g/t Au from 228 m, estimated true width (ETW).
Southern Arc — DSR1128: 12.8 m at 7.8 g/t Au from 103 m, including 0.8 m at 59.5 g/t Au.
Kassasoko — DSDD799: 56.8 m at 1.8 g/t Au from 26 m, including 0.8 m at 24.5 g/t Au from 85 m.
The results highlight opportunities to extend mineralisation beyond current pit designs, with further drilling planned to investigate extensions at depth and along strike.
Bambadji: Exploration advances

Fortuna has approved an US$8 million exploration programme comprising 51,000 metres of planned drilling for the remainder of 2026**. Six drill rigs are operating at Kabewest, the most advanced drill-defined target on the property.
Initial drill-core observations show similarities to the breccia-hosted mineralisation at Diamba Sud, while assay results remain pending. More than eight drill-ready targets have been identified and prioritised for 2026.
Technical context: Reported intervals are estimated true widths (ETW), as stated in the company’s release. Drilling results do not by themselves establish economic viability. Bambadji assay results are pending, and further exploration is required to assess the extent and continuity of mineralisation.
