GLOBAL EXPLORATION BRIEF | GHANA

Recent drilling results from Hamak Strategy’s Akoko Gold Project in Ghana continue to highlight the importance of systematic exploration and data-driven resource development.
The latest drilling campaign at Akoko North reported encouraging near-surface gold intercepts, including:
44m @ 1.61 g/t Au from 5m depth
Including 27m @ 2.24 g/t Au from 9m depth
To date, the company has completed 39 drill holes totaling 2,310 metres and has begun expansion drilling at the Akoko South prospect, located approximately 13 km south of Akoko North.
An additional 35 drill holes covering 1,900 metres are planned, while results are being incorporated into an Independent Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA).
Why does this matter?
Strong drilling results are important, but their real value lies in how they contribute to resource estimation, geological modelling and long-term project development.
Projects like Akoko demonstrate how consistent exploration programs help build geological confidence and uncover the true scale of a mineralised system.
What do you believe is the most important indicator of exploration success?
Grade
Width of intercept
Continuity of mineralisation
Resource growth potential
