High-grade drill intercepts are exciting—but their true value lies in confirming the continuity of a mineralised system and improving confidence in the geological model.


Recent drilling at Orion Minerals' Okiep Copper Project (Flat Mine East) has confirmed the continuity of a high-grade copper zone, providing greater confidence in the geological model and supporting the company's 2026 resource optimisation drilling programme


The latest drill results include:

  • 3.96 m @ 4.64% Cu

  • Including 0.95 m @ 14.19% Cu


The new intercept extends the high-grade copper mineralisation 39 metres down-dip and confirms that the zone remains open at depth, strengthening confidence in future resource modelling, exploration planning and mine development.
